Body Armour is worn to protect you and limit the damage caused in the event of a crash. Generally armour will have a hard plastic shell with padding underneath to soften any blows. Armour is normally worn by downhill, cross country or BMX riders as they travel at high speeds over unpredictable terrain. Different types of armour include: elbow guards, knee guards, shin guards, torso guards, neck supports, ankle guards and hand/finger guards.
