CranksetsThe crankset is the part of your bike that converts the power generated by your pedalling into motion. The crankset consists of the two cranks and the chain ring. Some cranksets will also contain an axle that runs through the bottom bracket. The main variable in a crankset is how many chain rings it has and how many teeth each ring has. A crankset will have one, two or three chain rings depending on the type of bike. Cranksets will vary greatly in quality, weight and price. |
