Cycle along Sardinia's undeveloped south-western coast, while enjoying warm hospitality and delicious cuisine.
Sardinia is a place of outstanding natural beauty, with its crystal-clear sea, limestone ridges and deep gorges. During the week we cycle across the wild and pristine southwestern region of Sardinia, passing abandoned mines, ancient ruins and gleaming white beaches. The route starts in the Sinis wetlands, home to colonies of flamingos, and moves on to the spectacular Costa Verde (Green Coast) named for its abundance of Mediterranean vegetation. After cycling past ancient mines, we reach the beautiful beach of Portixeddu where the impressive Pan di Zucchero white cliff towers out of the emerald waters. We then board a local ferry to the fishing village of Carloforte and explore the delightful isle of Sant'Antioco before crossing to the mainland, where we conclude a week of wonderful cycling pedalling along the stunning Costa del Sud, with its white beaches, coastal pools and imposing high cliffs.

Ride the route of the pilgrims from Leon to Santiago de Compostela.
The Camino de Santiago de Compostela across northern Spain is one of the world's oldest pilgrimage routes. For more than 1000 years pilgrims have made their way to Santiago and in 1987 it was declared the first European Culture Route. Also known as 'The Way of St James', it originated in the region of Galicia where the tomb of the Apostle James the Great was discovered in the 9th Century. It's the gothic cathedrals, mediaeval monasteries and miles of unspoiled rural scenery that make this section of the route so popular. Our ride begins in the charming city of Leon with a wealth to explore through its winding narrow streets. We then cross the Castillan plains gradually climbing to the highest point of the trip, the 'Iron Cross' (1505m), in the mountain range of Leon. Before entering the gastronomic region of Galicia we visit the beautiful village of Castrillo de los Polvazares, where the strong orange coloured stone creates the fascinating local architecture. We ride through fertile valleys full of vineyards and rural country on our way to completing this ancient tradition at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.

Cycling is the perfect way to explore, with some vehicle assistance to cover the longer distances. From Jodhpur our journey takes us first to the beautiful lakeside city of Udaipur, and on to the holy town of Pushkar. Leaving the desert scenery behind we ride to Jaipur, a town overlooked by the splendid hilltop Amber Palace. We also visit Sariska National Park, beautifully located and home to an abundance of wildlife, and finish with the magnificent Taj Mahal.

Cycle through the beautiful landscape between the historic cities of Ronda and Granada.
Our ride begins in the whitewashed cliff-top town of Ronda and moves on across the rural high sierras of Andalucia and through some very impressive, yet little-known landscapes. Following roads that for centuries echoed with the sound of Berber and Arab warlords and tradesmen, this is a journey of discovery through a rolling landscape of whitewashed farmhouses, olive trees, citrus groves, rugged limestone gorges and dense forest parks. We ride past ancient fortresses and decaying monasteries which reveal the region's changing fortunes, and we continue through the typically Andalucian villages of Antequera and Alhama de Granada, until we reach the hometown of the magnificent Alhambra Palace - Granada. We spend a full day in this charming city, which offers a unique mix of both Spanish and Arabic cultures: the perfect place to finish a fine week of cycling.
