Basso Bikes: Traditional Italian racing bikes
Basso bike manufacturer was founded in 1977 by three brothers Alcide, Renato and Marino Basso. Alcide Basso was a passionate cyclist and athlete who learned the craft of frame building early. Today he is still responsible for the technical area of the Basso company. The Basso family is passionate about cycling: Marino Basso became road world champion in 1972 in the French town of Gap, after which a frame from Basso was also named in the 1990s.
