This 5-day tour takes you on a wonderful journey to all parts of the Anderson wild cattle run set up by Anderson in the 1830’s. The scenery is amazing and varied. It has something of everything from old historical settlements to wonderful mountains to foodie towns to small hamlets sitting right on the beach. You will love your cycle journey from the rolling country to the wild Bass coasts.
There are craft breweries, cideries and local wines to taste along the way. This dairy area is known for its cheeses, olives and fresh local produce. Enjoy your well earnt, tasty lunches along your way.
You have 5 days’ cycling, averaging around 48kms each day, with an option to do some or all of the George Bass Coastal Walk which starts at Kilcunda with its fantastic views, amazing headlands and protected coves. You have plenty of time to swim in one of the many beaches, play on the sand when there are no swimming flags, stop in cafes, enjoy the parks, stay in the beautiful old country towns, cycle through the reserves, sample the local produce, explore the museums, see the koalas, or simply relax. Every day is different, and we know you’ll just love it!
You can look forward to lovely accommodation each night alongside the beach or in fantastic towns. You can be assured a warm welcome and a great sleep each night.
