TRIP ITINERARY

Day 1
Welcome to Yorkshire! Men’s Elite TT
Our staff will meet you at Leeds/Bradford Airport. From the Airport we’ll transfer to our hotel in the center of Harrogate, where we will be staying for the next 5 nights, just moments from the Harrogate circuit. There’s no time to dilly dally, as they say in Yorkshire, as we have a race to watch! After lunch and an orientation of the Yorkshire village, we’ll head over to the circuit where the Men’s Elite TT is taking place, to cheer on your favorites and see your first rainbow jersey.

Day 2
Men’s Junior Road Race Start Viewing
In the morning we will drive up to Richmond to watch the start of the Men’s Junior road race. Richmond was founded by the Normans in 1071AD, and is a leafy, vibrant market town. After seeing the cyclists head off, we’ll check out Richmond Castle and then drive the course, passing through the stunning Yorkshire Dales and some of the actual route, anti-clockwise, of stage 1 of the 2017 Tour de France! Quaint villages, endless rolling green hills, Abbeys, fells and Jacinta’s childhood playground. We’ll stop for tea and cakes in one of the small stone-housed villages. Today you will marvel at the real Yorkshire, as though you have stepped back in time.

Day 3
Knaresborough / Women’s Junior and Men’s U23 Road Race Viewing
Jacinta will work her magic to arrange a visit to a hotel hosting some pro cyclists and see if her connections can open any doors…. then we will take the 2-carriage train to the stunning village of Knaresborough. This Yorkshire town is full of surprises, a warren of medieval streets and stone staircases that weave their way up and down the hill. The town center is perched on the cliffs above the River Nidd and the imposing railway viaduct across the Nidd Gorge offers an amazing view as we arrive by train.

After a couple of hours exploring, we’ll head back to Harrogate where we can position ourselves along the circuit, and take advantage of the many pop-up bars and restaurants to watch the finish of the Women’s Junior and Men’s U23 road races.

Day 4
Women’s Elite Road Race VIP Viewing
In the morning you will have a couple of free hours to explore Harrogate. At the heart of the town is Montpellier quarter, famous for its shops, galleries, cafes and bars. You can have a cup of tea and a scone in the famous Betty’s tea rooms! Then we’ll head to our VIP area on the Harrogate circuit. The women’s Elite road race covers 149.5km from Bradford, plus 3 circuits of Harrogate. We are in the VIP area on The Stray, right on the circuit. Enjoy live coverage, food and drinks, allocated tables and a prime viewing spot as they pass by us 3 times!

Day 5
Men’s Elite Road Race VIP Viewing
Today we’ll set off early and head into Leeds, by train, to watch the start of the Men’s Elite Road race! This truly is Jacinta’s stomping ground where she was proud to call home for 20 years. Once the riders set off, so will we, back on the 30-minute ride to Harrogate. We’ll head to our VIP area on the Harrogate circuit. The Men’s Elite road race covers 284.5km from Leeds, plus 7 circuits of Harrogate. We are in the VIP area on The Stray, right on the circuit. Enjoy live coverage, food and drinks, allocated tables and a prime viewing spot as they pass by us 7 times! Who’s going to take the jersey from Valverde?

Day 6
