Bike Brake Rotors
Brake rotors are located on the wheels of a bike and are connected to the brakes and hubs of a bike. They are activated when a rider squeezes the brake levers causing the brake rotors to stall, slowing the rotation of the wheels which in turn slows down the pace of the bike. There are numerous styles to suit all bike types and generally come attached to a new bike when purchased. They are circular to fit the shape of the wheel and are generally made out of stainless steel.
