We caught up with Orica-GreenEDGE and Orica-AIS at a pre-season training camp in Nagambie, and looked into the crystal ball to find out who is going to win this year's Australian Road Nationals?
Simon Gerrans seems to be the popular pick on the men's side, even from the man himself. There's no doubt Gerro is looking to become a three-time Australian National Road Race Champion and loves wearing the green and gold on the international stage.
Mitch Docker even suggesting the former Australian National Road Race Champion 'feels a bit lost without the Aussie colours'.
Keep an eye out for the Dimension Data pairing of Nathan Haas and Cameron Meyer to make a play for the title, and new BMC Racing teammates Rohan Dennis and Richie Porte can't be overlooked either.
The women's race seems much harder to pick with Lizzie Williams, Gracie Elvin, Amanda Spratt, Rachel Neylan and Katrin Garfoot all getting a mention. The Orica-AIS team is stacked with strong riders and you would have to think the Elite Women's Australian National Road Race Champion would come from them.
Gracie Elvin is fresh off her victory in the 2016 Mitchelton Bay Cycling Classic and teammate Lizzie Williams showed tremendous form winning the final stage of that race solo. There's no doubt the elite women's title will be hard fought.
Who's your pick for the 2016 Australian National Road Race Champion?
