Max Stevens doesn't hesitate - the Santos Women's Tour has the potential to change women's cycling in Australia, taking it to a whole new level.
This year the elite female Tour is also a leg of the Subaru National Road Series, creating huge interest in the race from overseas. Max is adamant the race's association with the Santos Tour Down Under will see the event grow from a one stage race (when it first launched) to four stages (this year)... And if Max has anything to do with it, then who knows what's in store for 2016 and beyond.
Travelling through the stunning Adelaide Hills, the women will on Monday race the same terrain as the men (which is also the case for Stage 2), before moving the race into the city and onto the tight, dynamic stages. And there will be plenty of competition gunning for the $10K prize packet.
We find out more from Max.
