Top Bike Awards - Giant Glory Advanced 27.5 0

Making the 2016 BikeExchange Top Bike Shortlist - the Giant Glory Advanced 27.5 0.

The Giant Glory Advanced 27.5 0 has speed coursing through its veins, built from the ground up for racing World Cup Downhill. The Glory has a strong history from Danny Hart’s World Championship win to more recently Marcelo Gutierrez’s three-peat at Whistler Crankworx DH.

Sharing its geometry with the aluminium version, the carbon Glory is the lightest downhill bike Giant has ever made. Don’t let the light weight frame fool you, though, there has been no compromise in frame strength or stiffness.

With its 8.0 inches of Maestro Link rear suspension being controlled by a Rockshox Vivid R2C shock and 200mm Rockshox Boxxer Team fork taking care of the front, the Giant Glory Advanced 27.5 0 will handle anything you can throw at it. The top end build doesn’t stop there, it comes with SRAM’s flagship XO1 DH 7 speed drivetrain, Guide Ultimate Carbon brakes and DT Swiss wheels.

A carbon model Giant Glory has long been dreamt of and yearned for, hype reached fever pitch when we started seeing Giant Factory Off-Road riders piloting carbon prototypes and now Giant has released the beast to the public.

Straight off the showroom floor this bike is ready to tackle anything from a World Cup Downhill to shuttling your favourite local trail with mates. With its light weight, killer specs and race winning pedigree, Giant’s first offering of the Glory Advanced 27.5 0 is one of the hottest bikes for 2016.
