Shipping and Delivery Policy

Due to current and ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, we will now be cutting back to dispatching once a week, This may in some cases cause a delay in getting your parcel out to you.
if you have a parcel requiring urgent dispatch, please get in touch and we can try our best to cater to your needs.

Products are delivered Australia wide using Australia Post (Registered Post). Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location, exact shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout.

Orders are currently being dispatched once a week and shipping times are estimated at between 3-10 business days depending on your location within Australia. Please be aware that during these uncertain times and restrictions, postage or parcels may take 3-5 working days longer than expected. Additionally, deliveries outside of metropolitan areas may take longer. This service will require your signature when the parcel is delivered. If you are not available at time of delivery, a card will be left for you to collect your parcel from the nearest Post Office.

Customer Service Policy

No Refunds on change of mind

Please choose carefully before purchasing, as we do not offer a refund on products due to
change of mind. This includes, but is not limited to -- Items you requested using an incorrect description, ie. you ask for a 26” tyre but need 20”
- Items you purchased but later realised aren’t required.
- unwanted gifts.
- ordered the wrong product, eg. wrong stem size, wrong size pedal thread, ordered incorrect helmet size.

We DO however offer an exchange in most cases, which can be taken as a store credit
and/or another item. postage of exchanged products will be at the cost of the customer.
returned items will incur a minimum 25% fee, and will exclude the freight charge.

Faulty items

If an item proves to be faulty, and within warranty, you are entitled to a repair or replacement.
The descision is not ours to make, we are simply the reseller for the product.
The descision will be made at the discretion of the supplier in their time,
ie. you may not recieve an on the spot resolution.
A proof of purchase is required in most cases.
Items that have been dropped, or mistreated may be declined for warranty.

Example: Bicycle derailleurs are exempt from warranty the moment they have a scratch,
these are a rather fragile item and a simple knock can result in failure.
In some scenarios, we can replace these at a heavily discounted “crash replacement” price

Layby Agreement

All Layby Cancellations will occur a 25% (of full RRP) restocking fee.
This covers storage, assembly, administration and the lack of availability to resell.
If the 25% has not been made, you will be required to pay the difference to cancel your layby.

Example: You layby a $900 Bicycle which has a RRP of $1000but only make a $100 deposit.
You will be required to pay the difference of $150 to cancel this transaction.

Our Layby Terms are 3 months, if the layby exceeds this time, we have the rights to cancel this
resulting in a loss of payments against this layby.
Laybys that cannot be fulfilled by Life of Bikes are exempt from the above.

These policies all meet the requirements of the Australia Competition & Consumer Commision.

Exchange, Returns, and Refunds Policy

Please choose carefully before you buy.

For faulty products, Life Of Bikes offer a 14 DAY REPLACEMENT WARRANTY, from the date you receive your product. They do not offer a satisfaction guarantee on any of their products, however due to their high level of customer service, they will always endeavour to keep customers happy and satisfied.

If your product is faulty, it will be replaced with an identical product. If they cannot replace the product, they will offer you the option of choosing another product of the same value, or provide you with a refund for the total value of the faulty product.

Please note: Standard postage fees apply to all return orders. Where the return relates to a faulty item, the replacement product will be sent out to you, at no charge, within 5 working days from the date we receive the faulty product.

When returning your product, please make sure you provide the following details:

Your full name
Your order number
Reason why you are returning the product
Your instructions informing us how you would like the issue resolved.
Please include the original order confirmation or invoice you received with your product. Also, if you haven't previously provided a contact phone number, please include this with your return. This will ensure the issue is resolved quickly, should anyone need to contact you.
