Cancer Council SA is encouraging cyclists to Ride for a Reason in the 2011 Mutual Community Challenge Tour. Cyclists can dedicate their ride to someone they know who has or is still battling cancer, while raising funds in their honour. Fundraising will help Cancer Council reduce the impact of cancer.
With 1 in 2 people diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, chances are that you know someone who has been affected by cancer. It could be a friend or relative, friend of a friend, workmate or perhaps even yourself who fought the fight. If you stop and think about it, you probably know more people than you realise.
Now you have a chance to dedicate your Mutual Community Challenge Tour ride to them. You can raise funds for Cancer Council SA in the Ride for a Reason campaign.
Fundraising is easy. The hardest part is riding your bike!
