BikeExchange is proud to be a supporter of the 2012 Big Canberra Bike Ride this year in conjunction with Pedal Power, the Amy Gillett Foundation and the Heart Foundation ACT. This is the biggest mass participation community ride in Canberra!
The ride is suitable for those of all fitness levels from beginners to more seasoned riders. There are 3 ride distances : 28km, 68km and 105km.
For those who participated in the event last year, there will be a new and improved route this year, with the event kicking off from Old Parliament house.
After the ride, you can collect your certificate of achievement, sit back and enjoy the free refreshments, let the kids be entertained and visit the Canberra Times Outdoor Art Show. There will also be a bicycle skills clinic with AustCycle for any of those interested in learning more!
What an awesome way to have fun, gain a challenge, see some true camaraderie in action and take in the beautiful Canberra scenery!
