Shirts are ironed, suits are dry-cleaned and we’ve even been out and found some pretty darn attractive new ties in celebration of the occasion. Yep – it has to be said, the BikeExchange.com.au team is taking our training for Suit Up and Ride to a whole new level this year!
Thursday 5th December will see Cadel Evans, Matt Goss and a whole bunch of other incredibly stylish dressers take to their bikes in support of mental health.
Suit Up and Ride brings together teams of five to race the ride of their lives on none other but Melbourne Bike Share bikes. They do it wearing suits or equally inappropriate race gear - team time trials do not get any more serious than this; we’re talking sheep stations!
It’s all a lot of fun, it’s a great cause, and you should come and get a slice of the action!
Hunters and Collectors will be keeping things lively, gourmet food vans Mr Burger and Yogurrddiction will be serving up quality carbs and we’re quietly confident that Mother Nature will bring her A game, too.
So if you’re looking for a Christmas party with a twist, if you want to help young people with mental illness, or if you just secretly love the idea of getting sweaty in a suit whilst riding for Australia on a hire bike, this is the event for you. Join us!
