The 2014 Tour Down Under – We’re Bringing the Buzz Straight to You

Bike fever goes into over-drive this month - there simply is no bigger buzz in Australian road racing than the Santos Tour Down Under!

The pinnacle of world cycling comes to our doorstep and South Australia puts on a show that has to be seen to be believed… And you’ll be part of the all the action through!

So what’s in store?

You’ll get the official race results first from us

Times will be released via within minutes of winners crossing the finishing line. Get the news in a flash and get it first from us.

There’s a party on the hill, would you like to come?

If you’re one of the tens of thousands streaming into Adelaide for a slice of the Tour Down Under magic, come over and see us at Willunga Hill. Whilst the cyclists otherwise battle it out in gruelling conditions, we’ll have you covered in marquee comfort, shade and cool bevvies. Come on down and say hi!

Yellow’s your colour?

Then all the more reason to come over and check out the Tour de France yellow jersey won and worn by ORICA-GreenEDGE’s Simon Gerrans (who symbolically handed it over to team-mate Daryl Impey, putting him in the history books as the first African cyclist to ride the Tour de France in the coveted, iconic jersey).

ORICA-GreenEDGE and ORICA-AIS cyclists chill out with us every day during the Tour.

Be at our marquee to get their insights, dig a little deeper into race goings-on, and just hang with the pros. Stage 2

Wednesday 22 January at 11am will see the start of ‘our’ slice of the Tour Down Under, and we’re pumped! The 150km ride will begin near the Town Hall and include KOM climbs and sprints, so plenty of diversity and potential for podium upsets and surprises. This is sure to be an awesome race and we couldn’t be happier to be a part of it!

Behind the scenes – we’re going to work hard (read head out on lots of rides and get amongst it in the village) to bring you footage and news from behind-the-scenes, and take you to as much of the action and antics off-the-bike as we will on the bike… Should be fun, so keep visiting us! Tour Down Under – make sure you’re part of the buzz through
