Following a highly successful professional career, Chris Boardman launched Boardman Bikes in 2007, and has combined his reputation, expertise and passion to establish what has become one of the leading British bicycle brands. Boardman remains one of the most successful and reputable figures in British Cycling, and is a former stage winner and wearer of the yellow jersey in the Tour de France, a world hour record holder, and Olympic individual pursuit champion.

Renown for his meticulous attention to detail during his professional career, Boardman applies the same mentality in the research and development of his bicycles, designing a range of bicycles that sufficiently meet the demands of riders of all levels and ability. Boardman is also extremely passionate about cycling advocacy, and is a reputable figure for advocating policies that promote bicycle use and infrastructure in the United Kingdom.

Boardman Bikes Range

Boardman Bikes are split into two distinct series - the ‘Performance Series’ and ‘Elite Series’. Together, these series accommodate different rider preferences and include a wide range of models for all cycling disciplines.

Elite Series

The Elite Series is comprised of a number of different individual ranges that are ready to suit the demands of the highest level of performance athletes. These ranges include the Elite Road, Elite Triathlon/TT, Elite Cyclocross, Elite Track and Elite Women’s ranges, which together sufficiently cover a range of disciplines that all ensure the highest degree of performance. All models within these ranges optimise quality materials and leading research and technology, so performance is not compromised in any way.

From 2017, Boardman Bikes has also partnered with British UCI Pro-Continental Team, ONE Pro Cycling, who will be using the Boardman Air 9.8, Boardman SLR Race 9.8 and Boardman TTE 9.8 from the Elite Series to compete in some of the biggest professional races worldwide. The Boardman TTE 9.8 alone has already been proven as a high performing triathlon race model, ridden to Olympic glory by the Brownlee brothers in Rio, so look no further than this series for all your serious competition and performance needs!

Performance Series

The Performance Series offers a larger and more diverse range of models, so that a broader range of riders can be adequately accommodated. From the most serious of cycling enthusiasts right through to the everyday or leisure rider, this series offers all round versatility at affordable price points. Ranges within this series include; Performance Road; Performance Cyclocross; Performance Triathlon/TT; Performance MTB; Performance Hybrid; and Performance Womens’s.
